On February 19, there was also a rear-end collision on the N206, near the exit at De Zilk, in which three cars were involved. And today around 1 pm it happened again at the same point, before the traffic light of the work on the viaduct at the AWD entrance. Three cars were also involved in this rear-end collision.
A blue van… was waiting at the traffic light and an approaching car (dark gray) slowed down in front of it. The third car (light gray) noticed all this too late and crashed on top of its predecessor, which then crashed back onto the van. The rear two cars sustained the most damage and had to be towed.
The ambulance treated one of the occupants, but he did not have to be taken to a hospital. Traffic on the N206 was severely delayed in both directions. On February 5, 2021, such an accident also took place near Noordwijkerhout, also at a traffic light for road works.
